DESCRIPTION:
The Model 2 is the foundation of the Versa-Pod® line since its introduction in 1995. It has built-in pan and tilt movements to enable tracking of targets moving simultaneously in two planes. Also has built-in axial rotation for quick corrections on uneven ground. Legs fold forward or backward on the rifle and the bipod has an instant quick detach to remove it. One-touch operation to extend legs, adjusts from 7 inches to 10 inches in six increments. Weight: 1.50 lbs (0.68 Kg). Non-marring rubber feet. The Model 462 is every bit a Model 2 but includes a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail adapter. It can be used at the range, hunting, shooting prone and from many other surfaces. LIFETIME WARRANTY. SOLID LEGS - On our bipods, the legs are machined from solid metal (aluminum or steel), not
hollow, bent sheetmetal like on our competitor's bipods. You won't get that "springy" feel when you take your shot.
POSITIVE LOCKING - Our designs all use positive locking notches. The load that the leg is able to sustain is 15 times greater than that of designs which use a friction-type locking mechanism.
SOLID STEEL LATCHES - The locking latches are wire-EDM cut from solid blocks of 4140 chromemoly steel. Our latches are unmatched for strength and precision.
