I'm a southpaw so standard left side selector switches are always a little bit awkward for me so after living with the standard selector switches on my other AR platform rifles I decided it was high time to try the Ambi selector setup for my newest rifle I just finished building. I've been putting only the best and most desirable parts, accessories, and upgrades into the new AR and since I wouldn't need to remove a factory selector from an existing pre built AR this would be the perfect time to try a nice Ambi selector switch so I settled on the Battle Arms BAD Ambi selector set in FDE, I ordered it and got it in the mail a couple days later and couldn't wait to drop it in as the last upgrade to the lower receiver, it comes with a standard and short selector switches and since I'm a southpaw I put the short lever on the left side and the longer one on the right. The reason I put the short left and long right is because with my left hand on the pistol grip and my thumb on the right side it's a perfect length and the short one on the left doesn't irritate the hand from rubbing on it when shooting a lot as a longer one does when it's in the fire position as a factory selector lever did on the outside of the index finger so it's great to be able to shoot and operate the selector lever with my left hand thumb easily and without the left side lever rubbing and eventually hurting my hand on days when shooting lots of ammo. It's a little stiffer then the factory selector but after working it a while. It's starting to smooth out and work even better. I'm now thinking about adding one of these to my other M4's and my AR-10 Panther LR-308 rifle because AR rifles aren't typically made for lefties and this is a BAD ASS setup as the name states... You gotta try it BC
