Versatile bipod, available in two adjustable height models (BPO 8-12" or BPOS (6-8"), mounts onto a Picatinny rail in seconds. Legs can be attached/detached with two swift movements. The 3” Picattiny Rail allows the addition of a foregrip without taking up more space on the handguard. New recessed design allows legs to be mounted higher, giving a lower and more stable center of gravity. Comfortable rubber covers legs allowing a non-slip grip. Excellent AR15 tactical bipod. One of the only positive features is that it looks good. It does not swivel. It does not cant. When you want to deploy the legs you have to press a relatively small button at the base of the legs. That button is hard to depress due to the amount of spring tension on it. In order to change leg angle legs must be fully deployed and pulled outwards. Making folding and deployment of the legs a unnecessarily lengthy an complex process. If you need to deploy your bi-pod in a hurry forget it. Mounting on a rail requires some luck. Picatiniy mount is predominantly molded plastic not precision made. There are steel nut inserts for the screws and if these are torqued tight they will break though the plastic ruining the mount. Customer satisfaction is very important to me and I'd be happy to exchange this for another bipod that has the features you desire. GG&G has several with rotation and cant that should meet your needs. This unit has been a popular bipod for users desiring a basic stable platform and deployment of the legs is quick with practice. Although I haven't had any returns with the mount durability concerns I do have several with aluminum (GG&G) or even steel (Versapod) that can meet your needs. I really like this bipod! Whether you go with this style or the side rail configuration this is a very sturdy, sleek, compact bipod system. It is also pretty light weight. It is very easy to install and use. I put mine on a PTR 91 Squad Carbine and it is perfect for that weapon and it's intended function. Regardless of the style you choose; you will not be disappointed by this bipod.
